Palta

I'm getting the hang of Chilean salads.  Here's the deal:  it all comes down to how much palta (avocado) is present.  In fact, Chileans are so passionate about their palta that the area in the grocery dedicated to them is nearly as big as the area for all the other fruit combined.  In our Jumbo they are even conveniently sorted--a humongous bin labeled "Ripe for today," another bin about twice as big labeled "Ripe in 2-3 days" and three full bins with the completely unripe ones.  

Back to salad....... whether any other ingredients besides palta are included--and what they might be--is irrelevant.  Figures 1 through 5 below serve as a simple rubric.

Hint:  a perfect score would be if nothing else on the plate is visible besides the palta.
