Compositoras chilenas

This evening I went to a concert celebrating International Women's Day featuring women performing works by female Chilean composers.

One of the more dramatic fountains in Parque Forestal that I passed on my walk to the concert
Biblioteca Nacional de Chile--the national library where the concert was held

The concert advert: Chilean composers of the 19th and 20th centuries, interpreted by performers from the 21st century
The hall is intimate (seating for 130) and beautiful.  It was packed tonight--standing room only by the time the show started.

All the participants taking a curtain call together at the end.  Three pianists, a guitarrist, a harpist, and a singer.
