Work-out parks

It seems like every little widening of the path in a park here contains a collection of exercise machines available to the public.  They are often colorful and have a certain appeal.   And people actually use them!  I think the girls are really going to miss this park feature--they are considerably more interested in going on all the work-out machines than onto the play structures (if there even are play structures).

We've seen work-out parks everywhere we've gone in Chile--from right here in the very urban area where we live, to the extremely rural towns that we've passed through in our travels.  

Of course, leave it to these kids to figure out some creative and unusual application for the machines.....
